People having characters of hypersomnia, hyperphagia, reverse dirunal variation, significant anxiety and extreme reaction anxiety. Extreme reaction sensitivity is the most common symptom of depression.The psychiatric symptoms of comorbid anxiety disorder is quite common in most of the adults. The presence of Major depressive disorder MDD and comorbid anxiety disorder is as high as 60 percent. Comorbidity comes with depressive and anxiety disorders. Severe comorbidity results in extreme phychiatric outcomes. The severity acts as barriers to treatment that increases resistance to treatment, risk of commiting suicide, increased chance of recurrence and increase in utilization of medical resources.</p>

 Effective recognition and diagnosis of the symptoms and well equipped treatment of depression and anxiety produces better results.  Paying vigilant attention to the development of depression and anxiety reduces the economic burden of the patients. Medical practitioners, doctors and consultants should clearly understand the medical disorders, comorbidity of anxiety and depression in order to treat the patient effectively.<br />
There are various cases of comorbid disorders. They are depression coupled with illness, depression along with heart attack,  depression along with diabetes. Doctors should also analysze the impact of depression and anxiety and the increased risk of committing suicides.</p>
<p>Pharmacological and non pharmacological treatments are the effective way to treat comorbid anxiety disorders.  Patients with severe symptoms require medical cure. </p>

<p>The general first level of  pharmacological treatment for the disorder is the usage of SSRIs. The results show that they are in no way more effective to other anti depressants.<br />

<p>SSRI’s are recommended over MAOIs and TCAs in non comorbid and comorbid depression and anxiety taking into consideration side effect and safety of the drugs.</p>
<p>Any treatment should take into consideration the patient’s profile and how he responds to the treatment. Based on the response of the patient to the various drugs, the condition and level anxiety in patient should be monitored.</p>

They constantly change their dresses, groom themselves, comb their hair, apply makeup, camouflaging with clothes, hat or makeup, dieting, skin picking, reassurance seeking and compare themselves with others.</p>

<p>Generally all the people have some defect or the other physically. But people with this disorder magnify even the minute defects in them. They are severely impacted by these negative obsessions with their inaccurate perceptions. People with BDD often undergo cosmetic surgery and dermatology treatments that are unnecessary and not required for them. </p>
<p>People are affected by these symptoms due to some incidents in their life.<br />
They are depressed, socially isolated, stressed, inferior quality of life and tend to commit suicide. BDD people are at high risk of committing suicides, and when they attempt suicide they generally succeed. </p>
<p>BDD people even though their appeared is quite perfect they tend to perceive they are abnormal. They assume themselves to be abnormal, unattractive, deformed and think that they are some monsters. BDD is seen in adolescents and can even children. This disease affects people in almost all countries.</p>

<p>So both these conditions should be treated separately. If the symptoms are due to bipolar disorder, then anxiety cures with bipolar disorder. But if both symptoms are not interrelated, anxiety persists even when bipolar disorder is cured.</p>
<p>Anxiety with separate condition requires special attention and treatment. Psychotherapy treatment gives better results in combination with medicines. Social anxiety is most common in people with extreme mood swings. Some people experience confident mood swings. In this type, people will be extremely confident and some times their anxiety increases where they long to meet new people often. This is termed as social phobia. In these circumstances if medication is used then bipolar disorder worsens. One can have behavior therapy. Here people are treated without anti depressants.</p>
<p>If people suffer from anxiety as a symptom of bipolar disorder, then they will be having agitation, pick the nails, can’t sit still, pace up and down. People cannot even think if these symptoms are severe since they will be experiencing extreme energy. They will be even experiencing irritation and other manic symptoms that make them addicted to alcohol. This also results in successful suicide attempts. People experiencing anxiety with depression will have strong urge to commit suicide. Under these circumstances people feel their future is unbearable resulting in suicides. These symptoms are curable and people should consult therapists.</p>
<p>There are different types of conditions in anxiety that results independent of bipolar disorder. They are social phobia, generalized anxiety disorder GAD, post traumatic stress disorder PTSD, obsessive compulsive disorder OCD, specific phobias, panic disorder with or without agoraphobia.</p>
<p>People suffering from these disorders if diagnosed and treated accordingly, will be cured of these diseases.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Cognitive behavioral therapy</strong> is a form of psychotherapy that underlines the important role of thinking. It assumes that it is our wrong faulty thought patterns that cause maladjustive behavior and emotional responses. The external things like people, situations and events have nothing to do with it. This therapy focuses on changing thoughts so as to solve the psychological, behavioral and personality problems. Cognitive-behavioral therapy is considered to be the most rapid and effective treatment in terms of<br />
the results. In Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the therapist basically focuses on three main areas i.e. <strong>Cognitive</strong> (i.e. thinking/believing process), <strong>behavioral </strong>(i.e. what they do) and <strong>emotiona</strong>l (i.e. relaxation/peaceful/strength and power strategies).<br />

<p>Therapists use several techniques in the course of their behavioral therapy to help their patients and change their thoughts and behaviors. Some of these techniques include:<br />
•	 The therapist normally asks the patient to defend their thoughts and beliefs. If the patient fails to produce the objective evidence, their faulty nature is exposed.<br />
•	The patient is sometimes asked by the therapist to imagine a difficult situation he has encountered in the past and then try to practice how to cope successfully with.<br />
•	In Guided discovery technique, a series of questions are being asked by the therapist from the patient. This is done to discover the cognitive distortions of the patient.<br />
•	The patient is being told to maintain a diary of the situations arise in his everyday life and the behavior to those situations that accompany him. The therapist then reviews the diary with the patient and discovers all the maladaptive thoughts so as to correct them<br />
•	In positive reinforcement technique, the behavior of patient is routinely motivated by positive things and reward system is set up for them<br />
•	Some <strong>distress strategies</strong> are also given to the patients. The main goal in these techniques is calm and peace. The more the brain is relaxed and quiet, the easier the information can get into it and be processed accordingly. The main focus of this technique is on healing, inner peace and healthiness.<br />
Several studies indicate that <strong>Cognitive behavioral therapy</strong> reduces the rate of rehospitalization, can help anxiety patients in managing their worry, effective treatment of insomnia, depression and many other disorders. </p>

It is an anxiety disorder or anxiety attacks featured by overwhelming anxiety and excessive self-consciousness of a person in daily social situations. A person finds it hard to walk down the road or any street because he&#8217;s very self-conscious and feels that people are watching him. People with social anxiety feels that in public places like work, shopping, meeting etc. that everyone is watching them, and judging them. They can&#8217;t relax and enjoy themselves in public. They prefer to be alone or with closed ones. Because this type of anxiety is very painful, people having this kind of disorder finds it easy to stay away from these social situations and avoid other people.<br />

<p>Many people are struggle with these kinds of fears. But the situation that triggers the symptoms of social phobia can be different from person to person. Nothing can be surely said about the cause of these attacks. They may be due to a stressful situation, any traumatic event in the past, an illness or diabetes, pregnancy, imbalance of nutrition etc. But whatever be the cause, one needs to learn how panic attack can be avoided. There is not too much difference between the panic attacks and anxiety attacks. Due to this both anxiety attacks and panic attack are used interchangeably.<br />

Symptoms of <strong>Panic attacks</strong> are like one can&#8217;t breathe, he is having nausea and chest pains and may experiencing a numbness in his arms and legs. He starts experiencing a twitching sensation in his face or eye. Although the symptoms of panic attack may not lead to death but in case of a full blown attack person feels that he is dying. A panic attack disables a person temporarily to do even the simple tasks. <strong>Panic attack treatments</strong> are a must and it’s not a difficult task to prevent the panic attacks. By just following the simple tips, you can prevent the panic attacks:</p>
<p>1.    Identify the causes of your panic attack. Understand what causes you to stress out. Then chalk out a plan to avoid that stressed situation.<br />
2.    Make a habit of doing exercise regularly. Exercise makes you feel better and give more energy.<br />
3.    Don’t consume those foods, beverages, and pills that contain caffeine because caffeine acts as a stimulant and triggers your nervous system. Consume     the foods rich of vitamins and nutrients.<br />
4.    Deep Breathing also helps to reduce the stress. Learn yoga and when you feel the panic attack, try to focus on your deep breathing.<br />
5.    Take enough sleep. As you sleep you feel relieved and your stress goes out. An unhealthy sleep can agitate your body and mind.<br />
6.    Think about some good things or funny things happened to you in the past. Just sing a song, whistle and make your mind free of stress.</p>
<p>If the above tips are not working and symptoms are more serious, then take the counseling and consult your doctor or the mental health provider.</p>
